Compound Emails

One of the best things that I have learned from Tim Ferriss is how to write compound emails. What does this mean?

Well the compound email is an informative email that keeps people from emailing 20 emails back and forth (which is highly unproductive and distracts you from your work every single time).

The compound email requires some thought before hand.

Here is an example of a compound email vs. a regular email:

***Regular email:

Does Wed August 25'th work for meeting?***

***Compound email:

Let's do Wed August 25'th at 3 PM. If that doesn't work, let's do Wed July 3 2 PM or Wed July 10 1 PM (with preference from former to latter). Which one of these work?***
